What is the Burj Khalifa Projection Open Call?
The Burj Khalifa Projection Open Call is a projection design competition inviting eligible individuals aged 18 and above, whether residing in the UAE or abroad, to submit an original video or animation design for the Burj Khalifa façade.
Who can participate?
The competition is open to individuals aged 18 and above, whether residing in the UAE or abroad, subject to the full eligibility requirements and exclusions listed in the official Terms & Conditions.
Can I participate as an individual or a group?
Yes. Submissions may be made by individuals or groups. However, only one winner will be selected per winning entry.
What kind of work can I submit?
Participants may submit an original projection video or animation design created for the Burj Khalifa façade. Still images are not accepted.
How do I submit my work?
Participants must email their submission to [email protected]. Files should be shared using WeTransfer, Dropbox, or Google Drive only.
What is the submission deadline?
The submission deadline is 18 August 2026 at 11:59 PM Dubai time.
What does the winner receive?
The stated prize is the projection of the winning design on the Burj Khalifa façade, totally or partially, on a date determined by Emaar. No cash prize is stated in the current Terms & Conditions.
Can I use AI-generated content, copyrighted music, or branded visuals?
No. AI-generated or automatically generated designs are not permitted. All visuals and animations must be original, any music used must be copyright-free, and branded, commercial, or promotional content is not permitted.

Participants can find and download the technical specifications from the official Open Call page at www.burjkhalifa.ae/open-call. These include the screen specifications and the required project file details, along with the format, resolution, and projection requirements.
