CN Tower
The CN Tower in Toronto stands 553.3 metres tall. It is an award-winning dining and entertainment destination and offers breathtaking views of the city from its SkyPod, Observation Level, Glass Floor, and 360 Restaurant. Other attractions include a thrilling hands-free EdgeWalk, 116 stories up, and a family-friendly KidZone.
Shanghai Oriental Pearl Radio Tower
The Shanghai Oriental Pearl Tower is a broadcasting and sightseeing tower and one of the earth’s tallest buildings, standing at 468 meters. It’s a striking tower with eleven steel spheres strung through the tower’s centre. Multiple observation decks offer 360 views of Shanghai and the Transparent Observatory at 259 metres has a glass floor. Other features include a revolving restaurant 267 metres up, a hotel, and a small rollercoaster. The Shanghai Municipal History Museum is located in the tower’s pedestal.
Empire State Building
Set in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, another of the world’s tallest buildings, the Empire State Building has been featured in countless films and is one of New York City’s most iconic landmarks. It stands 443 metres tall, and offers observation decks on the 86th floor and 102nd floor with views stretching across six states. Other features include a beautiful art deco lobby and multimedia exhibits .
Skydeck Chicago
Skydeck Chicago is located on the 103rd floor of the tallest building in Chicago, the Willis Tower. At 412 metres high, Skydeck offers 360-degree views spanning up to 50 miles and four states. For the more adventurous, the viewing tower also offers The Ledge, a glass-enclosed box that extends over a metre out from the building. Step onto The Ledge and enjoy the best views of Chicago.
The View from The Shard
The View From The Shard is London’s highest viewing platform. Set 244 metres up from the ground, it offers spectacular views of the city from Levels 69 and 72. On Level 69 you’ll find a Champagne bar serving a range of drinks and light bites while on Level 72 you can take in the views from the open-air sky deck.
Eiffel Tower
Built in 1889 for the World Fair, the Eiffel Tower stands 300 metres tall and is a symbol of Paris and France. It welcomes nearly seven million visitors a year and has three viewing platforms, two restaurants, souvenir shops, and cafes. Enjoy views of Paris from the second floor or from the glass floor on the first floor. There’s also a Champagne bar and more romantic views 276 metres up. At night, the tower dazzles as it’s lit by 20,000 light bulbs.
Space Needle
The Space Needle is an observation tower in Seattle, Washington. It features an indoor observation deck and open-air viewing area 160 metres up, plus a rotating glass floor 152 metres up. Enjoy panoramic views of Seattle from the three main viewing areas or lean into the skyline on a Skyriser, a slanted clear glass bench located on the outdoor observation deck. Other features include a café, wine bar, and lounge.
